We're here to help you feel your best.

At the start of each treatment your therapist will ask about your needs, health concerns, injuries, and your day-to-day routine. Knowing where you've been and what you've done will help us tailor your treatment every time you come in.

We also love questions! Not sure what that muscle is called or how you can enhance the benefits of your massage at home? Just ask!

NOTE: these are several techniques we use, after an initial assessment, and your input, to ensure you're treatment is a success.

Your treatment. Your way.

The word Shiatsu is Japanese. “Shi-” refers to finger, and “-atsu” means pressure. Shiatsu has been defined as “a form of manipulation by thumbs, fingers and palms without the use of instruments, mechanical or otherwise, to apply pressure to the human skin to correct internal malfunctions, promote and maintain health, and treat specific diseases. The techniques used in shiatsu include stretching, holding, and most commonly, leaning body weight into various points along key channels.”

For those really troublesome spots

Myofascial Cupping is a modern adaptation of the ancient Chinese art of cupping. We use silicone cups to create a suction or vacuum where rigid soft tissue is encouraged to soften, excess fluids and toxins are allowed to drain, adhesions are loosened and connective tissue is lifted and released while bringing increased blood flow to stagnant skin and muscles.

Hot stone

Relaxation Acute Injury Chronic Pain

The ultimate in relaxtion

This is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing, but also heavily affects the end result of looser muscles by heating up the tissue so that the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly.
